We at Macktown Living History wish to thank Ecolab for the $1,000 grant they awarded to us. This grant will be used to create signage for MLH at the entrance to Macktown Forest Preserve. This will enable us to better utilize our marketing.
Thank you so much to Wild Ones, Rock River Valley Chapter and Jerry Paulson, for the great donation of $500. This will be used for native plant additions to our Medicine Garden. These gardens demonstrate the uses that native plants had for Native Americans, and later for the colonists, and educate the public about the history of the site.
